Boomerang Gorge - Dwerta Mia Walk Trail
Really lovely simple walking trail with the feeling of being in some enchanted forest. The birdsong, often kookaburras cacophony, the sunlight streaming through the trees, the dappled light, the information posts ~~ it all makes for a serene moment as if stepping back in time.

Boomerang Gorge - Dwerta Mia Walk Trail
$15 per car entry to the park. Shallow gorge of 5-10m deep with a path at the base. I have twice seen kangaroos at the top of the gorge. Do the walk as a loop to crystal cave or up and back along the same path. A few shallow caves visible along the walk.

Probably the best walk around Yanchep National Park. Heaps of undulations, stairs and corners take you through towering limestone walls and beautiful small caves. There are information signs posted throughout the walk which offer insight into the native people, the local fauna that used to roam the area and a whole heap of information on how the limestone cliffs were formed.There are heaps of birds that call the trees home which makes for a beautiful scenery, both to the eyes and ears. Well worth a visit and at only 1.5km round, is perfect any time, any day for the whole family

Boomerang Gorge - Dwerta Mia Walk Trail
Great short distance walk, that is probably overlooked. It is 1.5 km long and has an accent half way. Easy walk for a majority of fitness levels.
